Gbegbetopia – Reimagining Knowledge Sharing is an interdisciplinary project that explores the nature of knowledge, how it is produced, shared, and experienced, and the different forms its transmission can take. Moving beyond conventional text-based formats, the project reimagines the book as a multisensory experience that challenges established categorizations and the limitations of the printed publication as a fixed, time-bound object.
Through a series of interconnected activities—including performances, talks, games, and workshops focused on knowledge sharing and healing—the project investigates how writing, reading, and the exchange of knowledge can become collective, participatory processes. It considers the possibility of publication as a form of ritual, in which the acts of writing and reading extend beyond the printed page and become part of a dynamic process with transformative potential. In this context, the boundaries between ritual, artistic practice, and knowledge production begin to blur.
