Dropping In and Out

A Response to Uncertainty

This publication brings together contributions from authors across disciplines, generations, and geographical contexts to examine how the artistic legacies of women and nonbinary people are shaped, remembered, and sometimes overlooked. Emerging from the interdisciplinary project Dropping In and Out, it explores questions of artistic visibility and disappearance in times of uncertainty, considering how artists navigate instability, failure, and renewal amid changing social and material conditions.

The publication combines essays and interviews with a participatory approach to bookmaking. In collaboration with MIZDRUK, the covers were produced through an analog printing process that embraces errors and variations, resulting in 75 unique covers.

Which Dear Tears Prey / Wood Hares Flea Wheather / Dew Bears Cents Beats

A performative card game developed by art&dialogue

Which Dear Tears Prey / Wood Hares Flea Whether / Dew Bears Cents Beats / … is a performative card game that explores artistic collaboration through collective creation, hybridity, and play. Participants imagine themselves as more-than-human beings, moving between human, animal, and insect perspectives and extending their senses through a series of individual and collaborative tasks. Rather than working toward a fixed outcome, the game invites participants to create, experiment, and negotiate together, challenging individual identities and conventional ideas of authorship.
